Does the SM7b Work With an XLR to USB Cable?

Today I answer the question of whether you can run the Shure SM7b into your computer through an XLR to USB cable. This was inspired by IGN’s video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nu1BKJ7Psrs) where they state that if you don’t want to buy a Mixer for the 7b, you could just get an XLR to USB cable…I disagree.
